Medical Information
Presently, the US government is offering our returning Combat Veterans from Iraq, 2 full years of medical coverage without a single co-payment.
If you an American service veteran and cannot afford medical insurance, the V.A. offers low cost alternative solutions. Some gave all, all gave some, You deserve yours. Please, check with your local Veterans Administration office for the VA medical clinic nearest you.
VA Loan Information
As of September 08, 2008:
Unless Congress extends the funds availability to the Veterans Administration, as of 09/30/2008 the VA will no longer guarantee the adjustable rate mortgage (ARMs) or hybrid adjustable rate mortgage (HARMs). Lenders have been advised NOT to accept any applications dated after 9/30/2008. Applications dated 09/30/2008 or earlier will be processed only if all other Va loan requirements have been met. This will effectively cut all access to the adjustable rate mortgage to the Veteran. A fixed rate mortgage will be be available giving more stability to the Veteran, but, usually comes in at a slightly higher percentage rate. More information available at: Military.com
